Part 1 auto biography

I was born on the 23rd of October 1991. My childhood was not the most happiest time. My mother was always away working far away from home. My father was an alcoholic and was never around. We were left with my grandmother who taught me too cook and do chores. eventually she had to go back to punta gorda and I was left in charge of the whole family and chores. the responsibility was left on my shoulders and although it was a lot of work I was happy to take care of my family. The most saddest moment was when i was waiting for my dad to reach home because it was my birthday he promised he would be home. i was turning 8 and I was all dressed up. I waited and waited and he never showed up. It was the saddest day for me. one of my proudest achievements was coming in second in a national poem competition. I finally got brave enough to share my poems. The moment that was life changing for me was my near death experience I got to see how much my daddy loved me. he even apologized for not showing up for my birthday when i was 8. He made me feel strong and although he was not as caring as can be he showed me in life God only tests the persons who he knows can get over it. Also because of him he showed me that when a person get over a hard time they should also try to help others who are dealing with the same problems. My father is also my role model because he has gone to an alcoholic and abuser of my mother to a caring loving father and husband. with that huge change he made me believe in people and  that they can really change if they want to. he is now trying to make up for his mistakes. he also battled with depression and his strength and dedication as a person and a father just makes me admire him more and i want to be just like him. he was my best friend during my darkest time, he was my shoulder for me to cry on and every time i was ready to give up he was there to help me through it. i would be very happy if i could be a parent like him. there is no one i admire more.
